Gunter's 1959 Vespa GS 150

After a full restoration(was not made by us!) gunter's vespa worked very shortlyOnbeslist. Then she stand nearly two years in the garage and no one took them to run. As luck would want they came to us for a technology and electrical overhaul.

The compression was o.k. ....

...the carburator needed a cleaning...

...but the biggest problem at the GS 150 vespa is the battery supported 6 volt ignition! As the vespa should be used for the daily ride to work also it was logical to chance the ignition to a modern 12 volt one(the best way to make it reliable).

...the first test drive in the rare warm november weather was very pleasant and we hope gunter can finally have fun with his vespa.
